Fish Ties Record

A Jamestown angler’s crappie has tied a state record. Chris Rick’s three pound, four ounce crappie caught on January 19 tied a record that has been on the books for 15 years.

Rick caught the crappie from the Jamestown Reservoir. The record was originally set in 1998 by Don Newcomb from Mandan.
