Mundt in Court

A Westhope man accused of shooting and killing a man was in court today for an initial appearance. Timothy Mundt, 48, is charged with murdering Jessie Kirk, 40, also from Westhope, on February 5. The Bottineau County Sheriff`s Department is still working on its investigation and can`t comment on the case.

Mundt is in the Bottineau County Jail with bail set at $500,000. He will enter a plea at his next hearing on March 19.
