Once the data is collected, the state will analyze it and determine if the rate at each child care center is close or comparable to the current market rate in each community.
"I`m hoping that, maybe, they will be able to decide to higher what they can give. And, I also think that, you know, they should be able to give a little bit more to infant care and also for others. I try to stay a little bit lower than the rest of them, but it`s kind of hard,” said home child care provider Kathy Bushnell.
Rates for the Child Care Assistance Program depend on a family`s income and household size.
