Mandan Shop Fire | Video

JR Havens | 2/20/2013

There was an early morning shop fire about a mile and a half northwest of the Tesoro refinery in Mandan. Three Mandan Rural Fire Department crews were called to this scene on 2137 38th street.

Four people from the shop had to be evacuated and the fire crews had to put the fire out, which was still burning in the attic area of the shop. Mandan Rural Fire Chief Lynn Gustin says the probable cause of the fire was electrical.

The fire was contained around 7:15 this morning. There were no injuries.

Preliminary estimates of the damage are $30,000 to $40,000.
