Weekend Burglary in Minot

A motel burglary lands a Minot man behind bars. Sunday morning, police went to the Select Inn after being called by two people reporting they`d been the victims of a burglary. They were staying at the Magic City Motel and while at work the previous day someone had entered their room and stolen various electronic items valued in excess of $500.

They identified Dalton Strader, 21, as a suspect. Officers located Strader staying in a room at the Select Inn and recovered various items of stolen property. Strader was arrested for Burglary and Theft of Property, both class C felonies.

Strader could face five years in prison, a $5,000 fine or both.
