Fatal Crash West of Bottineau

A man was killed last night when his car slid and hit an oil tanker. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says at about 8:00, a 2001 Toyota Corolla was headed east on Highway 5, 12 miles west of Bottineau. NDHP says the driver lost control and slid in front of the oncoming truck.

The tanker hit the driver`s side of the car. The driver of the Corolla was pronounced dead at the scene. His name hasn`t been released.
