With more women becoming managers on the family farm, the five week course will focus on a variety of topics including business, estate, and retirement planning.
"The wife or the woman in the family is becoming more and more active in doing a lot of the paperwork and wanting to understand what they need to do to transition the farm down to their kids or the next generation down the line,” said NDSU Extension Agent Paige Brummund.
Classes start on March 5. For more information about the program, call the Ward County NDSU Extension Office at 701-857-6444.
