Delta Airlines to Begin Service to Dickinson

| 2/8/2013

Another airline will be coming to Dickinson. Delta Airlines will provide two daily, nonstop flights between Dickinson and Minneapolis/St. Paul. Service will begin in June. Delta will have tickets for flights starting on February 23.

Last year, Dickinson Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport recorded nearly 24,000 boardings, an increase of about 5,000 from the year before.

“Delta’s commitment to providing daily service at Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport will help us meet the transportation needs of this growing region of North Dakota,” said Governor Jack Dalrymple. “Enhanced air service is good for business and the region’s quality of life.”

“This is exciting for Dickinson and southwestern North Dakota,” Dickinson Mayor Dennis Johnson said. “This is another example of the great progress we are making in Dickinson and the entire region.”

On Monday, United Airlines announced that they will be providing service to Dickinson as well.
