Safety and Health Conference

The largest safety and health event in the region touched down at the Bismarck Civic Center today. More than 1,000 people from across the midwest gathered for the annual North Dakota Safety Council conference featuring more than 60 motivational and hands-on safety courses. There are also 147 vendors participating in the conference.

"Safety is a priority like profit is a priority because because your most important resource, for most companies, is your people. and you have to keep your people. So that`s where safety starts, on the job. in every facet of work they do. That`s what this conference is all about," Don Moseman with the North Dakota Safety Council.

The conference ends on Thursday with an awards banquet honoring individuals and companies who achieved safety goals this year.
