Fiddle Festival | Video

Van Tieu | 2/2/2013

The Former Governor`s Mansion was packed with fiddlers today. String instrument students from Bismarck showed off their musical talents during an intimate, yet informal show. For many, it was their first time performing for an audience.

The event honors former Governor Arthur Link, and his wife, for their lifelong support of music.

"Arthur Link has always been, and Grace have been strong supporters of music; in our music education. and being a fiddle player, promoting string instruments in our schools just seemed like a natural match for this," said Karen DaSilva, Chair of the Fiddle Festival.

The festival was hosted at the Former Governor`s mansion, which was preserved as a historical site by Link.
