The individual whose name appears on this notification has been convicted of a crime against a child or an attempted crime against a child, or has pleaded guilty to a sexual offense. In accordance with North Dakota State Law this individual must register as a sexual offender or an offender against children.

The offender is not wanted by the police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community.

Information narrative: Mr. Peterson is a lifetime high risk offender due to convictions of Corruption/Solicitation of a Minor on November 29, 2007 and Sexual Assault on November 12, 2008. Both convictions were in Grand Forks County District Court In both instances Mr. Peterson provided alcohol to the 15 year old victims and had sex with one victim and fondled the other. Mr. Peterson was recently released from incarceration.
