You never know when you or your loved one is going to need blood. Donations go down during the holidays but the need for life saving blood always goes up. Because of that, students from Bismarck and Century High schools organized Blood Battle 2012, a blood drive for United Blood Services.

"It`s primarily for Century and BHS mainly because there is such a rivalry and we can always rile the other school up to do something," said Taylor Oster with Team CHS.

The teams ended up having a tie. BHS won last year.
