Defense Bill Passes

The 2013 Defense Authorization Bill has passed and includes funding for North Dakota air base missions. Senator John Hoeven`s office announced today that the bill includes money for the B-52 bomber and intercontinental ballistic missile system based in Minot and the Global Hawk unmanned aerial systems based in Grand Forks.

The bill passed the House earlier and now goes to President Obama for a signature.
