Williams County Breaks $1 Billion in 3rd Quarter Sales | Video

The North Dakota Tax Department is reporting a healthy third quarter in terms of sales across North Dakota. For the months of July, August and September the state saw a 22 percent increase in taxable sales and purchases compared to the same time last year.

According to the report, Williams County generated nearly $1.3 billion in taxable sales and purchases, a 36 percent increase from last year. The majority of the sales come from retail and wholesale trade as well as food services and mining and oil extraction.
