Report: ND Leads Nation in Personal Income Growth

According to a new report, North Dakota is leading the nation in personal income growth. The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis released a report today that shows personal income growth in the state up by 1.4 percent for the third quarter of 2012.

"We are very pleased and proud that North Dakota continues to lead the nation in personal income growth," said Commerce Commissioner Alan Anderson. "That`s the proof our policies for economic growth are working."

As for the rest of the nation, state personal income growth was at 0.5 percent. Growth slowed in 34 states, accelerated in 11 and was unchanged in five.
