"Mostly professionals. What we`re seeing is a lot of office occupants. So we have dentists, we have a chiropractor, we have financial institutions."
Contractors broke ground on the new space less than a year ago, but Yineman says more than half of the two story, 30,000 square foot office building is already spoken for. The developer offers in-house architectural services to help speed up the tenant build-out process.
"Once they get inside, we`re looking at a 90 day build-up."
Yineman says you won`t find any traditional boilers or air conditioners in the building, as it utilizes state-of-the-art heat pump technology to heat and cool the various office space.
"The system operates similar to a heat pump where it`s zoned and is able to provide cooling on one side, heating on the other. But it distributes everything easily and nicely and very efficiently, so that the costs are much lower."
Capital Square is in the midst of a hotbed of construction activity on the north end, including Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson`s new headquarters, St. Gabriel`s Community and additional retail near WalMart. Plans for Capital Square include three more identical buildings, for a total of 120,000 square feet of space, as well as landscaping and parking. But Yineman says, there`s still land to be had in the rapidly growing area.
"People are gravitating towards it. It`s no longer too far north."
North Bismarck continues to be "on the move."
Contractors will break ground on building two at Capital Square in the spring.
