Woman Pleads Guilty to Assault With a Dangerous Weapon

A Cannonball woman pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court today to a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon after she hit a man with a vehicle. In September, Maureen Red Stone, 30, got into an argument with a man then drove into him with her van. The man`s injuries were not life threatening.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Red Stone will be sentenced in March.
