FBI Asking for Assistance in Search

The FBI is asking for assistance in finding a suspect who may be in the Dakotas or Minnesota. Mitchell Lee Walck, 57, is wanted for questioning for allegedly firing at an Idaho State Police trooper, fleeing the scene and later kidnapping an adult female. The FBI says Walck may be travelling through North or South Dakota and/or Minnesota.

Walck is described as being 5` 8" to 5` 10", medium build, wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt, light blue jeans and possibly a blue ball cap. He may have changed his appearance, shaving all but his mustache and dying his hair black. Walck was last seen driving the victim`s 2005 Subaru Forester, silver in color with an Idaho license plate K230050

Walck is considered armed and dangerous. If spotted, he should not be approached. People with information are asked to to contact law enforcement immediately.
