Moose in Minot

Minot police are advising residents to be aware of moose within city limits. Police say a cow and two young calves have been sighted within city limits. The department is working with Game and Fish.

Minot police are asking the public to leave the moose alone. They say a mother will be very defensive and aggressive in protecting her young and the best course of action is to let the moose be and let them pass through town. If they are left alone, they typically do not pose a threat.
