Bismarck Garage Fire | Video

It was a scary situation this morning for a Bismarck resident whose garage caught fire. A call was made to the fire department shortly after 11:30 this morning, and when crews arrived to the home on Kennedy Avenue, the garage was fully engulfed in flames. One resident was home at the time and was not injured.

The fire was contained quickly and did not spread to the house.

"We had crews here probably within four minutes and shortly after arrival, we started putting water on the fire," said Bismarck fire support chief Brooks Martin.

Martin says four of the five crews available at the time were dispatched to the scene.
