Union Workers Scheduled to Vote on American Crystal Contract

The long-running lockout of American Crystal Union workers could end this weekend. Thirteen hundred union workers have been locked out since August of 2011. On Saturday, union employees are scheduled to vote for a fourth time on whether to accept Crystal`s contract offer.

A company spokesman says if employees vote to accept the contract, they`ll get their jobs back and return with the current workforce.

Union employees are scheduled to vote between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Saturday.
