Poaching in Morton County

At least two pronghorn were illegally killed recently in Morton County. According to the North Dakota Game and Fish the two pronghorn were left along County Road 83 northwest of Mandan in Morton County. Based on the scene, it`s possible more pronghorn were killed. The Game and Fish Department said the incident took place Sunday morning during opening weekend of the deer gun season.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Game and Fish Department`s enforcement office in Bismarck at (701) 328-6604, or the "Report All Poachers" telephone number at (800) 472-2121.

The "RAP" line has offered a $1,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction. Callers can remain anonymous.
