ND Named Best Run State

North Dakota has been named the best-run state in the country. "24/7 Wall Street" gave North Dakota the highest ranking in its list of best and worst-run states. The unemployment rate is the lowest in the U.S. at 3.1 percent and home values rose 29 percent from 2006 to 2011.

North Dakota and Montana are the only two states with no budget shortfalls since 2009.
