Stores Open Early for Black Friday | Video

Julie Leonardi | 11/22/2012

Times have changed, and Black Friday no longer begins when the sun rises. These days, Black Friday begins as soon as the clock strikes midnight. Stores like Best Buy and Target aren’t opening their doors yet, but some shoppers have already been lining up for the deals. Even if that means standing in line for over eight hours in 20 degree weather.

The first spot in line for Best Buy goes to Blaise Stanley, he said he’s been in line since 4:00. “I just want to get the TV and some Xbox accessories.”

Shoppers have said it’s worth waiting in the cold to get a good deal on electronics.

Brian Schulties has a great spot in line, and said he’s going to get a TV and a tablet. “I’ve been here since four, it’s cold and my wife better appreciate it!”
