October Airline Boardings Up Again

| 11/19/2012

October was another record setting month for airline passenger boardings in North Dakota. Overall boardings were up 19 percent from last year. Williston has its largest October on record, Minot had a 53 percent increase and Fargo boarded the most passengers.

"North Dakota breaks a record every month. We`re not aware of any other place in the nation experiencing significant growth in aviation - certainly not at this capacity," said Aviation Projects Manager Joshua Simmers.

The ND Aeronautics Commission says that the most significant demand for airlines is in the western part of the state.
