Shoppers Turn to Vendor Shows for Holiday Gifts | Video

Next Saturday is Small Business Saturday. It`s a day when shoppers are encouraged to spend some money at locally-owned shops. Many small business owners were at the Bismarck Eagles Club Sunday for a holiday vendor show. Shoppers were crossing items off their holiday list.

Vendors were selling items ranging from jewelry and mittens to coffee and home products.

"A lot of people, I think, prefer to go to a vendor show or a craft show to buy things then going out in the big malls when there`s so many people and stuff," said show coordinator Debbie Brown.

Vendors will be at Gateway Mall next weekend for another vendor show. The hours are Friday 10:00 to 8:30, Saturday 10:00 to 6:00 and Sunday 12:00 to 5:00.

There will be a vendor and craft show in Wilton on Saturday, November 24 at the Community Center from 10:00 to 3:00.
