Good Ice Fishing Expected in Devils Lake

| 11/9/2012

According to the Devils Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau, the lake has its highest numbers for perch, pike and walleye in the past decade.

"It`s significant that we have the highest populations of all three favorite species at the same time," said Northeast North Dakota District Fisheries Supervisor Randy Hiltner.

The bureau says anglers have been successful this summer and fall, which could be good news for people going ice fishing. The ice fishing season begins as soon as conditions allow.
