| 11/6/2012

A Texas man has pleaded not guilty to burning down a North Dakota motel. Investigators say Allen Thomas started a mattress on fire at the Lone Steer Motel in Steele because he was upset that the owners had helped his girlfriend. The August fire burned the motel to the ground.

Prosecutors charged Thomas with one count of Arson and 18 counts of Endangering by Fire. All of the felony charges carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
