Last Night to Campaign | Video

Valley News Live | 11/6/2012

All that`s left is the voting. The candidates for U.S. Senate made their last night of campaigning count. Rick Berg started out yesterday in West Fargo, then headed to Minot, then to Bismarck, and ended the day in Fargo.

Heidi Heitkamp made six stops on her "Bring it Home" bus tour. She went from Park River to Grafton to Grand Forks to Mayville, then Wild Rice and finally to Fargo last night. Heitkamp said it was important to her to keep campaigning until the last minute.

"I`ve worked almost a year, and I am not going to quit until every last vote is counted. That is the way I`ve always done everything that I`ve done. I am so grateful to the people of North Dakota for opening up their hearts, opening up their homes, opening up their pocket books," she said.

Berg made stops around the state thanking all of his volunteers for their hard for over the course of the campaign.

"I tell you it`s full steam and for the past week it`s been so humbling but also exciting having the people, really as we criss cross the state, they come out, they`re fired up. They want to take what we`re doing in North Dakota and apply it to our nation. For me, that`s exciting," he said.
