Travel Alert Extended
| 11/2/2012
The travel alert issued earlier by the North Dakota Department of Transportation and the North Dakota Highway Patrol has been extended. The alert now covers all areas of North Dakota, excluding the southwest portion of the state because of areas of reduced visibility and slush and snow covered roadways. Wet roads can also turn to ice as the temperature drops.
The Travel Alert remains in effect until Saturday morning for areas surrounding the cities of Williston, Minot, Bismarck, Jamestown, Valley City, Devils Lake, Grand Forks, and Fargo.
