The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) have lifted the No Travel Advisory for Williams, Divide and McKenzie counties, but has issued a Travel Alert for the northwest region of the state due to areas of poor visibility, snow covered roadways and icy conditions.

The No Travel Advisory for areas surrounding the cities of Minot, Bottineau, Harvey, Parshall and Kenmare has also been lifted. A Travel Alert has been issued for this area due to poor visibility, snow and slush covered roadways and icy conditions.

A Travel Alert is also in effect for central North Dakota north of Interstate 94 due to slush and snow covered roadways turning to ice as temperatures drop. This system is moving to the east. Motorists can still travel, but are encouraged to use extreme caution, reduced speeds and drive according to the conditions.

For road information, call 511 from any type of phone or go to www.dot.nd.gov.
