Every week Alyssa Marino will give a closer look at hot topics from around the country and right here in North Dakota.

Today she talked about Hurricane Sandy and how fake photos of damage were surfacing all over the internet. Anonymous tweeters and bloggers would post pictures they`ve edited themselves to make them look as if they were straight out of a movie, and some of them actually were!

Another trending topic is Abigail Evans. A seven year old girl from Colorado who has grown frustrated with political ad`s flooding her radio program. So frustrated, she couldn`t even hold back her tears. This video of her mom asking her what`s wrong has gone viral, appearing in several different media outlets. The video also has over 100,000 views on YouTube.

Trending locally, is the live stand up comedy event at Dakota Stage this weekend. For $15 you can see two comics and enjoy a cash bar. Organizers are calling it "Mics and Mugs" and it headlines two comedians from Minneapolis. Tickets are being sold first come first serve at the door starting at 7:00. Amber Bernhardt explains why this is an event you do not want to miss. For more information on this event visit their Facebook page, just search "Dakota Stage LTD".
