You won`t have to rush to get rid of those campaign signs in your yard before election day. A federal judge today issued a preliminary injunction against the law prohibiting electioneering on election day.

Gary Emineth, the former chairman of the state Republican party, had filed suit against several state leaders, claiming his first amendment right to engage in political speech on election day was violated by the law.

In his order, U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland agreed, and points out that thousands of voters have already cast their ballots early, while being bombarded by political ads.
