Red Cross Donations

| 10/30/2012

The American Red Cross has opened over 100 shelters in nine states as part of relief efforts for those impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

"The effects of Hurricane Sandy are already being felt as thousands have been forced to evacuate their homes. The Red Cross is there for people who would not otherwise have access to shelter," said Randy Johnson CEO of the Minn-Kota region of the American Red Cross. "One of the best ways for people across our region to help in our efforts is to contribute financially."

People who with to donate to the Red Cross can do so at www.redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or texting the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
