Person Hit by Vehicle South of Dickinson Dies

A Dickinson resident who was struck by a vehicle last night has died. Kyle Lenerville, 56, from Richardton, was traveling north on ND 22 four miles south of Dickinson at about 6:30 when he passed another vehicle. After that vehicle passed, Lenerville saw a person walking in the middle of the his lane.

Lenerville tried to stop, but struck the pedestrian, Brendan Smock, 28, from Dickinson.

Smock was taken to the hospital and died this morning.
