High Speed Chase in Grand Forks | Video

According to the Grand Forks County Sheriff`s Office, a teenager from Belcourt is in jail this morning after a high speed chase. Yesterday afternoon a deputy spotted a car in Grand Forks that had been stolen from Fargo and the chase was on.

The driver, Sheldon Lee Demery, 19, took off west of Grand Forks on Highway 2. During the chase, he caused damage to three yards and sparked a small grass fire.

The chase ended near Niagara, North Dakota, 35 miles west of Grand Forks.

He`s now facing a long list of charges.
