Land Board Awards Grants for Teacher Housing

The North Dakota Board of University and School Lands, also known as the Land Board, announced that they have awarded grants for housing for teachers in oil country. The $2.5 million energy impact grants will be used to develop affordable housing for teachers and to enhance public safety in oil counties.

The grants are part of the state`s $135 million Energy Impact Grant Fund. Another $2.5 million in energy impact grants are expected to be awarded in December.
