Living in North Dakota, you know the winds can get pretty gusty some times. But if the wind blows tree branches off your property and it damages your neighbor`s property, you could be liable.

The North Dakota Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that a Lisbon chiropractor may be eligible to collect money for damaged caused by his neighbor`s trees.

The court says it`s never been ruled before if a tree owner is responsible for the damages, but if the damages are proven to be caused by the trees, there could be a case.
