Name Released in Fatal Stanley Crash

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a Minnesota man who died in a fatal accident near Stanley on Tuesday afternoon.

Jason Burton, 30, from Nevis, Minnesota, died after crashing into a semi truck.

The Highway Patrol says Burton was north-bound on Highway 8 Tuesday afternoon when he tried to pass one semi truck and was hit, head-on, by another semi traveling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the north-bound semi was also injured after his truck rolled into a ditch.
