Fatal Crash Near Stanley

A 30 year old man is dead after crashing into a semi truck near Stanley. The Highway Patrol says the unidentified driver was north-bound on Highway 8 Tuesday afternoon when he tried to pass one semi truck and was hit, head-on, by another semi traveling in the opposite direction.

The identification of the victim is being witheld until family members can be notified.

The driver of the north-bound semi was also injured after his truck rolled into a ditch.
