Two Arrested for Burglary and Terrorizing

Two men are in custody following a burglary in Minot last night. Police were called to a residence in Northwest Minot after a report of two men entering the residence with a handgun and demanding money.

The men left in a vehicle, which was located by police. When police pulled the vehicle over, three African American men fled from the vehicle. Police caught and arrested two of the men, but did not locate the third. Police also found a handgun near the vehicle.

The two men who were arrested, Jimmy Stewart, 38, and Myles Griffin, 26, both from Minot, were charged with Criminal Conspiracy to commit Burglary, Criminal Conspiracy to commit Terrorizing, and Criminal Conspiracy to commit Reckless Endangerment. Stewart was also charged with Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle. All of the charges are Class C felonies.
