Theatre Costumes Turned Halloween Garb | Video

Michelle San Miguel | 10/13/2012

In just a few weeks, many will be sporting their Halloween costumes. Shoppers in Bismarck found they didn`t have to spend much for a one-of-a-kind costume. Dakota Stage sold many of its old costumes and accessories for a fraction of the original price on Saturday.

Proceeds from the sale go back to Dakota Stage.

"Some really classic things, vintage things also. Some really crazy things again at all these plays. I`m sure there`s weird, weird costumes. People have been buying a lot of hats, many hats which surprises me a little but close to Halloween it must be part of the costume," said Dakota Stage board member Kate Herzog.

This week actors at Dakota Stage are putting on their rendition of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for students, seniors, and those in the military.
