Haunted Fort Opens Tomorrow

Starting tomorrow, Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park will be transformed into the Haunted Fort. The event, which started in 2002, is an annual fundraiser for the Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation. Every year, crews transform the fort`s buildings into "nightmarish scene-scapes that challenge the bravery of anyone who passes through their gates."

The event is recommended for people ages 13 and up.

People can visit the Haunted Fort every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the rest of October. The fort will also be open Sunday, Oct. 28 - Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Hours are 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, then 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. It will also run from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. October 28 - October 31.

Admission is $12.
