Planned Power Outage for Dawson, Tappen Area

Montana-Dakota Utilities customers in the Dawson and Tappen area will experience a planned power outage later this week. The outage will take place from 12:01 a.m. until 6:00 a.m., weather permitting on Friday, October 12. The outage will effect customers in Dawson, Lake Isabel and Tappen.

The outage will take place so crews can perform maintenance on a transmission line and substation.

MDU reminds customers to prepare for the outage by backing up or shutting down computers and other electronic equipment.
