Trinity Gets To The Heart of The Matter | Video

Trinity Health reached a major milestone today. Truven Health recognized Trinity as one of America`s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals. Trinity was the only North Dakota hospital to make the list. It is also one of only 15 community hospitals to be recognized in the heart category.

In order to be chosen by Truven Health, the hospital had to meet a list of standards that resulted in overall better patient care.

"This allows Trinity to support the mission to continue to provide the best cardiovascular care in the nation here for the people of North Dakota. We strived to be the best we do not like to follow we like to lead," said cardiovascular surgeon, Dr. Christopher Phillips.

Truven Health examined more than 1,000 hospitals to determine the list of 50 hospitals.
