Motorists Advised to Watch for Deer

| 10/8/2012

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department says that with juvenile deer dispersing from their home ranges this time of the year, motorists have a greater chance of getting into a collision with a deer. Deer-vehicle accidents are at their peek from October through early December.

Drivers are asked to slow down and use caution. Most accidents occur at dawn and dusk.

Game and Fish reminds motorists to pay attention in deer crossing areas. When you see one deer, always look for more to follow.

If you are involved in an accident, contact local law enforcement.
