Bismarck police recently cracked down on distracted driving, specifically texting while driving. This Tuesday and Wednesday Bismarck police participated in a texting sting and out of the 47 citations given, 31 of them were for texting and driving.

Police say the citations were "a wake up call" and motorists must change their habits and stop putting others at risk.
