Joel Porter | 10/2/2012

A company specializing in oil drilling will receive a tax break for setting up shop in Mandan. The city commission approved a five year tax exemption for BOS Solutions, Inc.

The company is planning to build a $1.2 million facility on 34th street northwest near the Cloverdale plant.

BOS Solutions would receive a tax break of a little over $120,000 over five years provided the company employs a dozen workers full-time in Mandan.

"We`ve had to bring in individuals from outside the state: Colorado, Pennsylvania, North Dakota to help facilitate with our growth. Our objective is to train and maintain having people from North Dakota to fill these positions," Rockies District Manager Matthew Tremblay said.

The commission also approved tax breaks for Diversity Homes and Edgewood Management Group.
