Truck Driver Injured After Collision With Farm Equipment

A Florida man was taken to the hospital and released last night after his truck hit a hay rake on Highway 83 in Burleigh County. Shortly before 7:00 Monday evening, a truck driven by Frank Blair, 52, of Ocala, FL was travelling north on Highway 83 at mile marker 103 when he failed to change lanes for a tractor towing a hay rake.

The driver of the tractor, Daniel Schonert, 48, of Bismarck drove the tractor into the ditch to avoid a collision. The truck hit the hay rake and overturned into the median.

Blair was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released. Schonert was not injured.
