NDSU Players Charged With Petition Fraud Plead Guilty | Video

Valley News Live | 10/2/2012

The 10 North Dakota State University football players who were charged in a petition fraud case have pleaded guilty today to a misdemeanor election offense. The players won`t have to serve time in jail as long as certain conditions are met.

The players will have to pay $325 in fees and complete 50 hours of community service. Coach Craig Bohl said the players could face team discipline but not suspensions.

Because of the petition fraud, two proposed measures for the November election were prevented from going on the ballot.
